Many of you already know me, and if you don't, you can learn a little about me from my bio above. I grew up in the woods of western Maine skiing back country with my family and generally enjoying the harsh winters. As I grew up, I began skiing with the local middle school ski team and eventually with the high school team. When spring of senior year came, I had some decisions to make; where do I go to school? Do I go to school? Why?

So, I ended up doing a post graduate year with Maine Winter Sports Center. I will be with the team again this year, but will be attending the University of Maine at Presque Isle full time. I figure what better time to learn than now? In the words of my grandfather, "When I went to school I didn't know how to spell engineer, now I are one!"

Well, I woke up this morning without the mobility I usually enjoy. I fell off my long board last night doing about 30mph or so and have yet to alleviate the soreness. But, I'm off for a jog, and then to work!
